Special Sitting: Auckland Environment Court honours Assoc. Prof. Kenneth Palmer
Following 46 years of seminal work in the planning and resource management fields, Kenneth Palmer is retiring from full-time professorial duties to focus his attention on writing and opinion forming.
In acknowledgement of his exceptional contribution to the fields of Resource Management, planning and local government, the Special Sitting will take place:

Place: Environment Court, Courtroom 2.01, Level 2, 41 Federal Street, Auckland.
About Ken Palmer:
Winner of the RMLA ‘Outstanding Person Award’ 2012, Ken’s professional experience and contribution has earned him the moniker ‘Resource Management and Local Government Guru’.
Having read Law at Auckland University, Harvard University and the University of Virginia, Ken was appointed to the Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland in 1969. From that point on, he made a substantial contribution to research, teaching, law reform and legal practice in the fields of planning/resource management law, and local government law.
