The Resource Management Law Association of New Zealand | Te Kahui Ture Taiao (RMLA_NZ) is a national multi-disciplinary organisation with close to 1,000 members, providing information, services, events and other opportunities for members who are involved in private practice, NGOs, industry, iwi and central and local government.
Members receive weekly newsletters, preferential access to online content, in-person and live-streamed seminars, roadshows, and other events around Aotearoa, including our highly regarded Annual Conference, Salmon Lecture and Hearn Lecture. Our presenters and authors provide fascinating, informed, and varied insights into the many facets of environmental and resource management, keeping our members across legislative reform, jurisprudence, and current affairs, while providing a holistic overview of resource management-related issues.
Our diverse public and private sector membership is our key point of difference. We value diversity of thought and pride ourselves on providing a neutral platform for the exchange of ideas, bridging a myriad of professions with the common objective of achieving best practice in resource management law and policy.
With the Government’s agenda and a portfolio focused on RMA reform, there is no better time to join RMLANZ. Our role in this area is to provide an essential voice representing our members in environmental law reforms through active and influential participation, profile, and collaboration with central government.
Membership is open to everyone active or interested in any area of resource management. We offer three member plans: Students, Young RMLA for emerging practitioners, and Essential for more experienced professionals.

Upon check out you will receive an order confirmation for your subscription as well as a notification to ‘verify account’. Once your account is verified you will receive a tax invoice receipt for your records.
