Gerald Torres to meet with RMLA AAG

RMLA AAG members are delighted that Professor Gerald Torres, a leading figure in critical race theory, environmental law and federal Indian Law at Cornell Law School has agreed to meet with the Group during the forthcoming RMLA Annual Conference to be held in Tauranga on 24-26 September 2015.

Professor Torres has strong existing connections with New Zealand environmental Law academics and practitioners, having previously addressed the RMLA AAG and delivering public lectures in New Zealand, including (with support from the New Zealand Law Foundation) lectures on Litigating Climate Change held at Otago University, Victoria University and Auckland University in 2014.
