We are pleased to share a snapshot of upcoming events for our members and friends to consider attending:

  1. Case Law Updates in Queenstown and Bay of Plenty,: Join us in one of our regions where you’ll explore the latest decisions in environmental and planning law. Our speakers will break down recent key cases and what they mean for resource management practitioners.

  2. Group viewings of The Salmon Lecture (Waikato, Queenstown, Bay of Plenty and Canterbury): Meet up with your peers to watch the livestreaming of The Salmon Lecture with Paul Majurey. Or watch from the comfort of your own office or home with an individual virtual ticket.

  3. Bay of Plenty members are invited to join in the fun at a NZPI/RMLA Quiz Night on 8th August from 5:00pm. (Note you will need to create an NZPI guest profile under ‘guest user’. Once you have completed this process, remain logged into your guest profile so that you can complete registration.

  4. Environmental Defence Society webinar on Climate Adaptation on July 30th at midday. Join Raewyn Peart, EDS’s Policy Director and the author of EDS’s Climate Change Adaptation Act: Building a Durable Future project, where she outlines the key findings and recommendations included in the report.

  5. University of Waikato professorial lecture on The Future of Law: Tradition, Innovation, the Environment and Beyond. Taking place in Hamilton on 13 August. Tickets are free but pre-registration is necessary.
