Feedback sought on freshwater farm plans and low slope maps for stock exclusion

Feedback is being sought on the proposed freshwater farm plan system through to implementation.

This includes the content of freshwater farm plans, outcomes and how the plans can be certified, audited, and amended.

MfE's second consultation is on the stock exclusion low slope maps regulations.

Public submissions for both consultations are being accepted from 26 July until 5pm on 12 September.

Consultation will include meetings with farmers, agricultural sector groups, iwi and Māori, councils and environmental groups.
