District Plan to manage land use and subdivision in Far North
The Far North District Council is creating a new District Plan to manage land use and subdivision in the District.The Council has now developed a policy framework that addresses Significant Resource Management Issues the community helped to identify.The identified issues include:
- Rural Sustainability
- Affordable Infrastructure
- Heritage Management
- Coastal Management
- Urban Sustainability
- Indigenous Biodiversity
- Tangata Whenua Partnerships
- Climate Change, Natural Hazards and Resilience
- Landscapes and Features.
