Renotification of WCO for Hawke's Bay rivers

The Water Conservation Order (WCO) for the Ngaruroro and Clive Rivers in Hawke’s Bay has been renotified, which means additional submissions on the application can be made.

Stephanie Frame, Nationally Significant Proposals Application Manager says “Recent evidence has identified that wider groundwater connections to the surface water in the rivers exist. Because this was not known when the application was first notified, the application for the WCO may now be of interest to additional parties.”

Anyone may make a submission on this application. Existing submitters do not need to re-submit but may do so if they wish to provide additional information.
