Issues with access to justice in the Environment Court of New Zealand

RMLA has published a paper presented by Principal Environment Judge Laurie Newhook and Environment Judges David Kirkpatrick and John Hassan, Environment Court of New Zealand, at the international symposium Environmental Adjudication in the 21st Century, held under the auspices of the Environment Court of NZ and University of Otago on 11 April 2017 in Auckland.Their paper  examines challenges past and prospective, to access to environmental justice in the New Zealand Environment Court, discussing in particular Access to environmental justice and the operation of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).Click here to download the full paper.
