Investigation into Otago Regional Council’s freshwater management

The Minister for the Environment has appointed Honorary Professor Peter Skelton to undertake a section 24A investigation with regards to Otago Regional Council’s performance on freshwater management.It has been a decade since these powers have been used under the RMA.Read the correspondence, including Terms of Reference, between Hon David Parker (Minister for the Environment) and Stephen Woodhead (Chair, Otago Regional Council).
