RMLA Canterbury-Westland : Council Round-up
Building on the success of last year’s event, RMLA Canterbury-Westland will be holding another Council Round-up on 4 November 2021. As with last year we were also planning to provide a deeper dive into a particular topic: MfEs current work streams, as the second-half. We will have have an MfE representative – who has mainly been involved in the Freshwater reforms – address us and answer any questions. There may also be appearances via Teams of other MfE reps.
The reforms webinar will then be followed by our Round-up from the local Councils, including (but not limited to) Christchurch City, Selwyn, Waimakariri and Environment Canterbury. Again, this is an opportunity for the Councils to update members on their latest planning and current consenting landscapes, to answer any pressing questions, and advise practitioners on how they might assist the Councils.
The event will be hosted by Cavell Leitch, and run under Chatham House rules for free and frank discussion. Numbers are also likely to be limited to enable Covid protocols to be observed.
RMLA Members Only
When: 04 November 2021
Time: 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm
