Environment Southland : Resource Management Investigator

We have an exciting opportunity for a person who has proven investigative and enforcement skills, combined with knowledge of the Resource Management Act, Criminal Procedures Act 2011 and other relevant legislation.
The successful applicant will demonstrate attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex prosecutions from interviewing through to the conclusion of the court process.
An understanding of the agricultural sector and skill at dealing with sensitive and confidential issues is essential and you must be able to adapt under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
This is a role that will provide many challenges, but will also give you the opportunity to utilise a wide range of skills and enhance your knowledge of the legal system.
Environment Southland is responsible under the Resource Management Act 1991 for looking after the region’s natural and physical resources. You could have a fundamental part in achieving this, so come and join us.

An initial offer of remuneration will be made within the range $85,170-$95,190 per annum.
